ShadesStudio

for all your window shade needs

Four shade styles.

Each shade we offer comes in any of our 250+ fabrics, with your choice of manual, cordless, or motorized operation.

Roller shade installed in a modern room

Roller

Clean, modern, low-profile.

A single panel of fabric that rolls up onto a discreet headrail. The default choice for modern interiors and the most affordable option in the catalog. Roller fabrics span everything from open-weave sheers to full blackouts, so the same style can give you light filtering in a living room or total darkness in a bedroom.

Operation: manual chain · cordless spring · motorized

Best for: apartments, modern homes, bedrooms, offices

Woven wood Roman shade in a window seat
Woven Wood

Roman

Soft folds, tailored finish.

A panel that gathers into neat horizontal folds as it raises. Roman shades make the material itself the focal point — they suit rooms with traditional or classic interiors, or where you want texture to soften a window. Available in fabric or natural woven-wood, in flat-fold or looped styles.

Operation: cordless · motorized (recommended for safety)

Best for: living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, brownstones

Zebra shade installed in a kitchen

Zebra

Day-and-night in one shade.

Alternating sheer and opaque bands on a single dual-layer roller. Aligning the opaque bands gives full privacy and light blocking; offsetting them slides the sheer bands into view, letting filtered daylight through. Adjust on the fly without raising or lowering the shade.

Operation: manual chain · cordless · motorized

Best for: kitchens, home offices, any room where you switch between privacy and light a lot

Shangri-La shade in a living room
Shangri-La shade in a lounge

Shangri-La

A venetian inside a sheer.

Horizontal fabric vanes suspended inside two sheer panels. Tilt the vanes open to let daylight through, closed for privacy, anywhere in between for filtered light. The sheer envelope hides the vanes themselves — no slats, no cords, no hardware visible from across the room.

Operation: cordless · motorized

Best for: dining rooms, sunrooms, large windows, anywhere you want venetian-style control without the venetian look

Lift systems

Every shade we install comes with one of these operating mechanisms:

Manual chain

A continuous-loop chain on the side of the shade. The classic, most affordable option. Comes with a child-safety tensioner that anchors the chain to the wall.

Cordless spring

A spring-loaded headrail — pull down to lower, push up to raise. No dangling cord, no chain. Child-safe by design and the cleanest visual profile.

Motorized

Remote control or app control. Battery-powered (no wiring required) or hardwired. Integrates with major smart-home platforms (Alexa, Google Home, HomeKit) on request.
